The Johns Hopkins Medical School needed a way to provide community outreach to promote its child immunization program in rural, economically depressed areas.
A series of campaigns were developed to build a sense of trust between the JH staffers and eligible families in the community. The campaigns included a customized coloring book, refrigerator magnets, book covers and other school supplies. An art contest was hosted and selected entries were featured on a community-based 12-month calendar.
